Imaginary friends is a series of self portraits. I am a soldier, a mermaid, a chair, and Mick Jagger. I believe in the eternal love of performance. I exist as one eye of the universal unconscious and I grew up as a daughter of a therapist and can pull myself apart with ease. I try to put myself back together again. Portraits of people who don’t exist are portraits of everyone and I am everyone and everyone is me.
